Total Time: 40 minutes
For best results, it is advisable to use organic and non-gmo ingredients. Else, likely there will be toxic chemicals found in the planting till the bottling process.
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon pure honey
½ cup coconut oil (optional: ¼ cup olive oil or almond oil)
½ cup raw shea butter
30 drops of Lavender essential oil
8 drops of Tea Tree essential oil
optional additions: 5 drops of Myrrh essential oil and/or 5 drops of Geranium essential oil
Directions
With a double boiler, melt the shea butter and coconut oil until it is well blended
Next add in honey and continue storing
Once all is melted and is well blended
Remove from heat source
Let it cool slightly then add in the essential oils, stirring till it blends.
Let it cool further till it thickens, then put it in the refrigerator for a few mins to speed up the process till it thickens further, but do not let it harden.
Using your mixer, mix for several minutes until it has a frothy appearance
Transfer to the mason jar or any glass container. Do not use any plastic containers.
Store at either room temperature (if you are not in a climate that is too hot) or in the refrigerator.
